We are partnering with a fast-growing retail business to recruit an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their finance team in London in a hybrid model. The Role
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts for budget holders
- Reviewing and analysing financial information to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Supporting monthly and year-end reporting processes
- Reconciling sales reports and balance sheets
- Carrying out daily accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations and payment runs
- Assisting with ad hoc finance projects and process improvements
- Supporting the team during external audit processes
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar finance or accounting role and be studying towards either their ACCA or CIMA qualification. The ability to have a high attention to detail, and confidence working with financial data is imperative.
