About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and personable Housekeeper to join the on-site team located in Goodmayes. This role is central to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across the building’s communal areas, amenity spaces, and residential units, ensuring residents experience a consistently high-quality living environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning of communal areas, including lobbies, corridors, lifts, staircases, amenity spaces, and external entrances
• Maintain cleanliness standards in amenity facilities such as gyms, co-working spaces, and resident lounges
• Support turnaround cleaning of void units ahead of new resident move-ins, ensuring units are presentation-ready
• Monitor and replenish consumables (e.g. hand soap, paper towels) in communal washrooms and facilities
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns identified during cleaning rounds
• Ensure correct and safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with COSHH regulations
• Manage and maintain cleaning stock levels, flagging reorders as needed
• Deliver a friendly, professional standard of service when interacting with residents and visitors
• Support the wider site team with ad hoc tasks to maintain overall building presentation

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a housekeeping, cleaning, or similar role, ideally within residential, BTR, PBSA, or hospitality environments
• High attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently high standards
• Good understanding of health and safety and COSHH compliance
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to resident interaction
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or varied shifts if required by the site
