The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially minded solicitor with 3-5 years PQE to join this thriving Commercial team in Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who is ready to take on greater responsibility, build their own client relationships, and develop across a broad and varied commercial practice.
The role is full time and Leeds based, with hybrid working available following a probationary period.
The Role
You will advise clients across a wide spectrum of commercial contracts matters, with the firm’s Commercial practice.Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply, purchase and distribution contracts, outsourcing arrangements, media and marketing contracts, and technology agreements
- Providing pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice on both day-to-day business issues and strategic projects
- Leading client matters with increasing autonomy as you develop within the role
- Building and managing your own client relationships
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
The Candidate
Our client is looking for a candidates who can demonstrate:
- 3–5 years’ PQE in commercial contracts law
- Solid experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- The ability to deliver clear, solution-oriented advice
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a genuine appetite for business development
