Divisional Finance Director

A private equity-backed facilities management group on an ambitious buy-and-build journey is seeking a Finance Director for one of its largest operating businesses.

With revenues of £30 million + and significant investment behind it, the organisation is expected to grow substantially over the coming years through a combination of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.

Reporting to the Managing Director and partnering closely with the Group CFO, this is a genuine operational Finance Director role.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Managing Director to drive commercial and operational performance.
• Lead and develop the finance function.
• Improve financial reporting, controls and BI.
• Drive finance transformation, systems implementation and process improvement.
• Support acquisition activity and post-deal integration.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial planning.
• Act as the key finance lead for the operating company with full P&L responsibility.

Candidate Profile

We would love to speak with ambitious finance leaders who:

• Are qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Have broad finance leadership experience within a commercial environment.
• Enjoy working in high-growth, entrepreneurial or private equity-backed companies.
• Are commercially minded and comfortable partnering with senior operational leaders.
• Want a broad, hands-on role with genuine influence over business performance.

Previous facilities management experience is not essential but would be preferred.
