Labourer with First aid

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Construction Labourer to join a busy construction project in Southend.

The successful candidate will be hardworking, safety-conscious and able to work effectively as part of a site team. A valid First Aid qualification is required for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• General labouring duties across the construction site.
• Assisting trades and site supervisors with day-to-day activities.
• Loading, unloading and moving materials around site.
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and free from hazards.
• Assisting with deliveries and material storage.
• Supporting site operatives with general construction tasks.
• Using hand tools and basic equipment where required.
• Following site instructions, RAMS and health & safety procedures.
• Wearing the correct PPE at all times.
• Maintaining safe access routes and good site housekeeping.
• Assisting with site set-up, clearance and preparation.
• Reporting hazards, damaged equipment or unsafe working practices to supervisors.
• Working closely with the Site Supervisor and wider construction team.

Requirements

• Previous construction site labouring experience.
• Valid First Aid certificate.
• Good understanding of construction site health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work.
• Appropriate construction site cards/certifications where required.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS Card
