London – Field Technician (Vibration Monitoring)

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, prepare, and install vibration monitoring equipment and related accessories at project sites.
• Supervise construction and blasting activities, ensuring compliance with monitoring plans and specifications.
• Prepare monitoring reports, progress reports, and field log reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communicate with property owners to obtain permission for installing monitoring equipment.
• Consult with on-site supervisors to understand the type, location, and progress of work, ensuring appropriate adjustments to monitoring equipment as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of equipment, including electronics, to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction technology, civil engineering).
• 0-2 years of experience in the construction/engineering industry.
• Physically capable of performing fieldwork in various conditions.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to project sites.
• Experience with electronics and equipment is a strong asset.
