We are excited to be recruiting for a one of our clients site in Sherburn in Elmet offering fantastic opportunities for growth, fresh starts, and long-term permanent roles.
We are currently recruiting motivated and reliable Order Pickers to join the warehouse team. This is a manual, fast-paced role involving order picking at heights of up to 14 meters using HLOP trucks (High Level Order Pickers).
Key Responsibilities as Order Picker – Order Picker at Heights:
- Pick orders accurately while operating at heights of up to 14 meters
- Work from a standing position in very narrow aisles (VNA environment)
- Perform general manual handling and warehouse duties
- Follow all site safety procedures including rope escape awareness (covered at induction)
- Support team operations and maintain a clean and organised work area
Requirements as Order Picker – Order Picker at Heights:
- No licence required – full training is provided
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Must be comfortable working at height and using rope escape equipment in emergencies
- HLOP experience highly desirable (VNA experience also considered)
- Physically fit and able to work in a standing, manual role
- Must be flexible to work a 5 out of 6 shift pattern (Sunday always off, every other Saturday required)
- Own transport essential due to limited public transport options
