Overview

n

Our Energy client is looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Analyst – LNG Business Solutions to join their London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst or ETRM Consultant with strong Endur expertise and deep knowledge of LNG and Energy Trading.

n

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to design, improve, and deliver business-critical solutions across the LNG trading lifecycle. You will play a key role in process optimisation, system enhancements, business transformation, and ensuring technology solutions align with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
• Partner with business and IT teams to define and deliver strategic business solutions.

n

• Analyse, document, and optimise end-to-end LNG trading processes across the trade lifecycle.

n

• Support business process redesign covering LNG trading, risk, settlements, shipping, hedging, optimisation, and reporting.

n

• Lead business analysis activities for system enhancements, projects, and process improvements.

n

• Drive workshops with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams.

n

• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend scalable technical solutions.

n

• Ensure business priorities are aligned with IT project delivery and ongoing BAU activities.

n

• Develop and improve business controls, reporting, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).

n

• Support Agile project delivery, testing, solution validation, and implementation activities.

n

• Produce high-quality business documentation, process maps, and functional specifications.

n

Essential Skills & Experience

n

n
• Strong experience within an Energy Trading organisation.

n

• Solid understanding of LNG, Natural Gas, Oil or Commodities Trading.

n

• Strong knowledge of the complete commodity trade lifecycle, including Front, Middle, and Back Office operations.

n

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience with ION Endur (OpenLink Endur) or a similar ETRM platform.

n

• Experience configuring or supporting LNG, gas, oil, or commodity transactions within Endur.

n

• Strong Business Analysis and process improvement experience.

n

• Experience working on system implementations, migrations, or transformation programmes.

n

• Good understanding of Agile software development methodologies.

n

• Experience designing technical solutions that improve business efficiency.

n

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

n

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

n

n

Desirable Skills

n

n
• Experience within LNG shipping and voyage operations.

n

• Knowledge of commodities transportation and settlement processes.

n

• SQL or database querying experience.

n

• Python exposure.

n

• Microsoft Power Platform.

n

• Advanced Excel including reporting and VBA macros.

n

• Experience with Visio and SharePoint.

n
