Commercial Paralegal (12 Month FTC)

Job Description

We're working with a fast-growing, cutting-edge FinTech business, who are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Paralegal to support the drafting, review and negotiation of commercial agreements across the business.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts – including MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, licensing, technology agreements.

n

• Lead contract negotiations with customers, suppliers and third parties.

n

• Provide practical, commercially focused legal guidance to internal stakeholders.

n

• Identify and manage contractual, regulatory and commercial risks.

n

• Manage relationships and instruct external legal counsel where required.

n

• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks and legal processes. Oversee contract execution, storage and renewal processes. Support continuous improvement of legal operations and contract management.

About You

n

n
• 3+ years' experience in a commercial contracts or in-house legal role.

n

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.

n

• Able to manage matters independently and prioritise competing deadlines.

n

• Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills.

n

• Experience within technology, SaaS, financial services, data or another regulated sector is advantageous.
