Business / IT Consultant – Global Corporate Banking (Japanese/English Bilingual)

Location: Central London (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite)

We are seeking business / IT consultants to partner with major Japanese banks and drive impactful business and technology transformation in a global environment.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
• Deliver PMO / Business Analyst / Product Management services

n

• Lead IT / BPR initiatives across lending, capital markets, transaction banking, trade finance, settlement, core banking

n

• Build trusted client relationships and identify value‑creation opportunities

n

• Collaborate with ABeam and partner teams to ensure high‑quality execution

n

• Operate autonomously with proactive communication

n

n

n

Requirements

n

n
• 7+ years consulting / project delivery experience

n

• Experience in IT or operational transformation

n

• Strong documentation and communication skills

n

• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Excel, Power Point, other tools

n

• Awareness of cloud, AI, and cybersecurity trends

n

• Business level in Japanese and English

n

n

n

Preferred

n

n
• End‑to‑end project lifecycle experience

n

• Requirements definition, UAT planning, stakeholder engagement

n

• Knowledge, insight, and hands-on experience in corporate banking or capital markets projects

n

n

n

Certifications (Plus)

n

n
• PMP, PRINCE2

n

• Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, CSPO, PSPO)

n

• IT‑related foundational or role‑specific certifications

n

n
