Senior Supply Chain Manager – Defence & Aerospace

Hampshire – Hybrid (minimum 3 days onsite)

12-month contract

We’re looking for an experienced Procurement professional to manage a major, complex subcontract within a Defence & Aerospace environment.

n

n

Key responsibilities:

n

n
• Manage supplier/subcontractor performance across delivery, quality, cost and contractual obligations

n

• Lead complex commercial negotiations and resolve supplier issues

n

• Manage and develop key supplier and stakeholder relationships

n

• Execute contractual documentation and binding agreements

n

• Drive cost savings, value creation and risk mitigation

n

• Monitor supplier KPIs and performance

n

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve supplier and contract performance

n

• Support continuous improvement and contracting strategies

n

n

n

Experience required:

n

n
• Ideally 10+ years’ relevant Procurement / Supply Chain / Subcontract experience

n

• Defence industry experience strongly preferred

n

• Experience working with UK MoD regulations and contractual flowdowns

n

• Strong commercial and contractual acumen

n

• Ability to draft, negotiate and interpret contractual Terms & Conditions

n

• Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills

n

• SAP / ERP knowledge

n

• MCIPS desirable

n

n

n

This is a senior, hands-on role requiring someone comfortable taking ownership of a significant subcontract and operating across a complex stakeholder environment.
