Leisure Attendant

About the Role

• Help deliver a safe, clean and welcoming leisure environment.
• Support daily activities, events and customer experiences.
• Prepare facilities and equipment for a wide range of activities.
• Promote high standards of health, safety and presentation.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Ability to undertake manual handling tasks.
• Flexible approach to working across multiple sites, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
• Experience of cash handling and booking systems.
• Experience setting up sports equipment and events.
• Knowledge of health and safety within a leisure environment.

QUALIFICATIONS/CREDENTIALS

• RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), or willingness to obtain within an agreed timescale.
• Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, or willingness to obtain.
• Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
• Level 3 Food Safety qualification or willingness to obtain.
• Manual Handling training or willingness to obtain.
• Customer Service qualification or willingness to obtain.
