Job Description
We are looking for motivated, fully qualified Electricians to join our current team, working across all our contracts. As an Electrician with UKES Rail Ltd, you will support our supervisors and join a motivated team where people genuinely have your back and offer support whenever it is needed.
Our Electricians work alongside apprentices, so a willingness to support their training and development is essential.
Due to the nature of our working environment, there will be a requirement for Electricians to work night shifts and occasional weekends. These hours are paid at an enhanced rate.
Duties will include:
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)PPM WorksReactive WorksRemedial WorksInstallation of containmentInstallation of wiring systemsInspection & TestingWorking collaboratively with other Electricians, apprentices and supervisorsEnsuring all electrical work is completed safely and to a high standard
Qualifications and Skills
C&G NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)Time served (preferred)18th EditionExperience in carrying out installation workExperience in carrying out EICRs2391 – Electrical Inspection & Testing or equivalent (experience essential, qualification preferred)Experience in railway work (preferred)Full clean UK driving licence (clean preferred)Excellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team of Electricians
