OverviewWe are seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join our team in ensuring vehicles meet safety and environmental standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in using hand and power tools.
Duties– Conduct MOT tests on vehicles in line with DVSA standards– Identify and report vehicle defects accurately– Perform necessary repairs or adjustments to meet compliance requirements– Utilize diagnostic equipment effectively– Maintain accurate records of tests conducted
Experience– Essential:– Mechanical knowledge– Proficiency with hand tools and power tools– Ability to perform heavy lifting– Nice-to-have:– Previous experience as an MOT Tester– Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic software
