Personal Care Assistant for a young lady F/T up to £20.00/hr in York
I am a 40year old woman who despite my disability, Friedreichs Ataxia and Stroke, I am trying my best to live a happy independent life and to give my parents, who are getting older now, a much needed break from being my main care givers. I have my own flat in York . I am intelligent and would love to find someone on a similar wave length; I am in to culture of all sorts, arts and literature, nature and spiritual stuff. I use a wheelchair all the time so need a lot of help.
Ther position is typically 5 days a week, live in,one week on one week off. With flexibility for holidays, and occasional weekends.
I need personal care, including dressing,washing and help with the toilet. Preparing and assistance with meals. Light domestic work. Accompanying me on trips, shopping, outings,college and events.
