Temporary Receptionist (afternoon cover)
Location: Just outside Edinburgh City Centre
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4.30pm – 8pm
Contract: Temporary Ongoing
Start date: Week commencing 24th August
Our client, a well-established organisation based just outside Edinburgh city centre, is seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist to provide morning reception cover.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for part-time morning hours and who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the reception desk and front-of-house area
- Meeting and greeting visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answering and directing inbound telephone calls
- Handling visitor enquiries and sign-ins
- Providing general administrative support
- Assisting with ad hoc office duties as required
- Ensuring reception areas remain tidy and presentable
Candidate Requirements
- Previous reception, front-of-house or administration experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional and welcoming approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Reliable, punctual and well-presented
