Warehouse Operative

Kinetic Industrial are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative for a Derby based client. The company is a niche provider of outsourced services and has an excellent reputation within the medical industry. This is a temporary to permanent role involving goods-in, picking and packing, stock control and occasional delivery driving. You must be able to work Monday to Friday, between 7:30am to 5pm (hours to be confirmed).

Role

• Unload deliveries and follow goods-in procedures
• Check deliveries for quantity, quality and expiry dates
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time
• Create packing labels and delivery manifests
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies
• Complete stock counts and replenish stock as required
• Use a 3.5-tonne van to make deliveries and provide driving cover for holidays and absences
• Use ORACLE to receipt goods and process sales orders
• Maintain Health & Safety standards and carry out equipment checks

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience
• Full, clean UK driving licence – essential, as occasional van driving will be required
• Experience driving a 3.5-tonne van with tail lift is desirable
• Counterbalance FLT licence and experience desirable but not essential
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good understanding of manual handling practices
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
