This company is looking for an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join its growing networking and security team. The role offers a strong mix of network security design, implementation, project delivery, and technical ownership, rather than focusing purely on BAU support.

Responsibilities:

• FortiGate firewalls
• SD-WAN and SASE
• VPN technologies
• SIEM, SOAR and XDR environments
• Network and security architecture
• Customer security projects
• Technical design and implementation
• Security audits and improvements
• LAN, WAN, routing and switching
• Automation and Infrastructure as Code

Skills/Must Have:

• Strong experience in information security engineering and cyber defence
• Hands-on experience managing and operating security technologies and platforms
• Strong technical knowledge of security operations and incident response
• Experience providing technical direction and ownership within a security team
• Ability to protect and secure systems across complex, business-critical environments
• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working across both factory and trackside or distributed operational environments

Working pattern:

• Hybrid

Salary:

• £50,000 to £68,000
