Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a dynamic and forward-thinking firm of chartered accountants in Newton-Le-Willows who are looking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team.

The Role

• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies,sole traders and partnerships




• Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns




• Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completion




• Supporting clients with accounting and tax queries




• Maintaining accurate working papers and records




• Liaising with clients and building strong professional relationships

About You

• AAT Qualified or studying towards ACA / ACCA




• Previous experience within an accountancy practice is essential




• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills




• Good communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients




• Ambitious and keen to develop a career within practice




• No previous audit experience required – full training and development provided
