Overview

Controls and Governance Manager – Leading Corporate Bank. This newly created role involves overseeing business controls across the organisation, performing a regular Quality Assurance checking program to ensure compliance and promote risk awareness, and identifying and implementing process improvements such as Straight Through Processing to enhance efficiency and embedded controls in operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee business controls across the organisation and perform regular QA checks to ensure compliance and risk awareness.
• Identify and implement process improvements (e.g., Straight Through Processing) to enhance efficiency and embedded controls in operational workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain effective control environments and governance practices.

Qualifications / Essential Skills

• Prior experience of managing, setting and testing controls in Operations within Banking or financial services.
• Regulatory understanding.
• Positive personality and desire to get the job done.

Salary

Salary: Up to £70,000 + bonus + package

Location

Location: London (good work from home options available)
