Works Manager (Bespoke Joinery)
£50,000 – £55,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card + Christmas Bonus + Training + Company Social Events

Are you an experienced joinery professional with project management experience, looking to join a growing bespoke joinery business where you can take ownership of operations, client relationships, and project delivery? On offer is the opportunity to join a respected Kent‑based manufacturer specialising in high‑end bespoke joinery solutions. With a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and quality, the company delivers projects across the residential and commercial sectors, with particular expertise on doors and windows.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the business, working closely with the Assistant General Manager and Workshop Manager to coordinate production, manage client relationships, prepare quotations, and deliver projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Conduct site surveys to gather project requirements and identify potential issues.
- Manage projects from inquiry to completion.
- Prepare and submit quotations.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Coordinate production and schedule work between teams.
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8‑5.
- Training on JMS quotation software provided.
Qualifications
- Strong background in joinery manufacturing.
- Previous experience in managing projects.
- Leadership or management experience in a joinery or manufacturing environment.
