Class 2 Driver (Cat C) Brimsdown, Enfield £18.00 per hour
The RoleWe are looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to join our busy pallet distribution operation based in Brimsdown, Enfield.
This is a customer-facing role involving the delivery and collection of palletised goods to both residential and commercial properties. Drivers start at 08:15 AM and typically complete two runs per day, carrying out deliveries during the morning and early afternoon before completing customer collections later in the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 curtain-sided vehicle.
- Deliver palletised freight to residential and commercial customers.
- Complete afternoon collections on behalf of customers.
- Load and unload pallets using a tail lift and pump truck.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Complete delivery paperwork and PODs accurately.
- Provide professional customer service at all times.
- Follow all transport, health & safety, and company procedures.
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience in pallet network, multidrop, or general haulage work.
- Confident using:
- Tail lifts
- Pump trucks
- Curtain-sided vehicles
- Good understanding of safe loading and unloading practices.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- A professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
