As an Optical Assistant, you’ll play a key role in providing an outstanding patient experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and delivering excellent customer service.
- Assisting customers in choosing frames and lenses to suit their lifestyle and budget.
- Carrying out pre-screening tests and supporting the optometrist.
- Adjusting, fitting, and repairing spectacles.
- Managing appointments and handling patient enquiries.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional practice environment.
- Previous optical experience is preferred but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
