Paralegal – Social Care & Education

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Paralegal who can hit the ground running in Child Protection work, including use of IKEN case management system (or equivalent) and court bundle systems. They must also be proficient with the Family Proceedings Portal (FPL). Contract is for 3 months in Kensington.

Pay Rate: £18.30 per hour PAYE

Location: Kensington, London, W8 7NX

Anticipated Length of Assignment:Unless otherwise stated (we do carry the occasional permanent vacancy) all of our roles are technically temporary, though opening assignments can be and often are, extended by clients on a longer term basis and can sometimes become permanent.

Key requirements:

• At least 1 years experience as a paralegal.
• Experince in IKEN case management system (or equivalent) and court bundle systems, must also be proficient with the Family Proceedings Portal (FPL).
• Ability to work in a fully digital environment.
• Highly organised and detail focused. Conscientious, friendly, and approachable.
• Demonstrates a flexible, logical, and proactive attitude to problem solving. Ability to negotiate and persuade to achieve efficient and timely delivery of service.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting solicitors in the conduct of cases, to include instructing experts, counsel and other suppliers on behalf of the team, raising purchase orders and receipting goods to ensure timely payment of suppliers and services.
• Organising diaries, scheduling meetings and responding to telephone queries.
• Writing first document drafts and proofreading documents and writing reports, conducting legal research.
• Organising case files, transcribing legal opinion and compiling court bundles.
• To take notes at meetings led by a solicitor.
