Social Worker required for work within the Children & Families Team(Countywide) in the Devon area. Competitive rates of pay up to £38ph, long term contracts in a well managed supportive team. 3 months initial contract 37 hours a week. Flexible working.
An accommodation/commuter allowance of £150 per week is offered for candidates who fall within the agreed eligibility guidelines. Please note that this allowance will be reviewed at the end of March 2026.
Children & Families (Countywide)
The role will require Social Workers to be available to cover their allocations and visit children as necessary to meet service needs. There will be occasions when they can work from home but they do need to be available to respond when required to do so.

About our Teams
Our Children and Families teams are responsible for managing child-in-need and child protection cases as well as cases in legal proceedings and looked after children. The casework is varied, and you will be working creatively to promote positive change within the home environment.
You will be Social Worker England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK.
