AD-HOC HGV Driver

Be Personnel have an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Driver in Aviemore Area.

The successful candidate:

• Will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations.
• Will have strong commitment to customer service and adherence to road safety regulations.
• Possess excellent driving skills and a thorough understanding of commercial driving practices.
• 8 hour minimum guaranteed paid shifts

Duties:

• Operate a Class 1 vehicle for the transportation of goods.
• Ensure timely delivery of products to designated locations while adhering to scheduled routes.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Handle loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper securing of loads.
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a clean driving record.

Qualifications:

• Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for Class 1 vehicles, Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• Applicants must have their Cat CE or C licence, Drivers CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• Maximum 6 points with no DR offences.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
