Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home

Knowle / Coleshill, Birmingham£60,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the registration and development of a children’s residential home within a growing care organisation.

We are seeking a passionate and quality-driven leader with a proven track record of achieving positive Ofsted outcomes and delivering exceptional care for children and young people.

The Role

• Lead the day-to-day management of the home.
• Take ownership of Ofsted registration and ongoing compliance.
• Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
• Recruit, manage and develop a high-performing staff team.
• Drive positive outcomes for children and young people.
• Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, care planning and quality assurance.
• Build strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals.
• Support service development and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

• Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager within children’s residential care.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.
• Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and safeguarding requirements.
• Experience leading teams and driving service improvements.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
