Hybrid Planning Policy Officer — Local Plan & Growth

The Cumbria County Council is seeking two Planning Policy Officers in Carlisle to help deliver the Cumberland Local Plan and planning policy documents. You will provide professional planning advice across policy areas, drafting policies and site allocations, and managing external commissions in a role with hybrid working options.

Candidates should have a Town Planning degree (RTPI membership desirable), strong policy knowledge, and excellent stakeholder engagement and analytical skills.
