Senior Industrial Door Engineer – Leicester

35,000-45,000 + Overtime + On-Call Bonus

An established industrial door specialist is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Door Engineer to support installations, servicing and repairs across Leicester and Leicestershire.

This is a senior position requiring a minimum of five years’ experience within the industrial door industry.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair industrial doors and associated equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete electrical work safely and accurately
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
• Read technical drawings and electrical schematics
• Complete electronic job sheets and service reports
• Identify and accurately report additional works
• Support and guide other engineers on-site
• Work safely at height and handle heavy equipment

Requirements

• Minimum five years’ industrial door experience
• Strong electrical knowledge and fault-finding ability
• Experience installing, servicing and repairing industrial doors
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Comfortable working independently and leading work on-site
• Good communication, measurement and basic IT skills
• Full UK driving licence
• CSCS, IPAF and DBS certificates are desirable

Package

• Basic salary of 35,000-45,000

Most work is based across Leicester and Leicestershire, with occasional travel to projects further afield.
