Tier 1 Main Contractor
We’re working with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their successful London & Home Counties team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major Department for Education (DfE) projects while developing your career within a well-established business.
The Role
• Lead the commercial management of projects from inception to final account.
• Produce and manage cost reports, forecasts and budgets.
• Take ownership of projects and manage commercial performance independently.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor management and change control.
• Support two-stage tender and framework opportunities.
• Work closely with operational teams to achieve project objectives.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
Requirements
• Experience working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
• Department for Education (DfE) project experience.
• Proven ability to manage projects independently.
• Experience with two-stage procurement.
• Strong commercial, contractual and negotiation skills.
• HNC, HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• RICS membership or working towards chartership is advantageous.
