Dental Nurse Apprentice, 131 Dental Care, Rotherham, S61 1EA
We are looking for a trainee Dental Nurse to provide Chair side assistance to the Dentist, decontamination of instruments and reception duties.
As an apprentice dental nurse, you’ll develop the skills and knowledge necessary to provide ‘chair-side’ support to dental professionals, with the aim of delivering a high-level of patient care. Dental nurses will work in both surgery and decontamination, so this apprenticeship focuses on all aspects of clinical responsibility and duty and will provide you with the relevant qualification to apply to the General Dental Council for professional registration as a dental nurse. The main focus will be ensuring the patient has a great customer service experience at every visit as well as ensuring the effectively supported chairside to the dentist eg Fillings ,Exams (charting), aspirating scale and polishing, crown preps.

Experience is not necessary, however we are looking for ambitious, hard-working and committed individual
Smart in appearance
Qualifications required: GCSEs in maths and English at grades 4 or above or equivalent.
Working week: 30 hours, days to be decided
Training: Delivery to be completed on-site and 6 hours per week off the job training either at Barnsley College or your place of work. Student to complete an Advanced Technical Certificate as a Dental Nurse Level 3 Apprentice. Functional Skills in maths and English, if required.
