Job Responsibilities/Key accountabilities:

• Support the delivery of >99% on time deliveries and ensure warehouse errors do not exceed 0.10%
• Be reliable and able to work on own initiative
• Able to work and dislocate to other depots
• Ensuring goods are safely secured
• Keeping your vehicle in good condition
• Loading and unloading the vehicle
• Taking the quickest route to your destination (map reading always an advantage)
• Be able to handle instructions well

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

• Previous experience of lorry driving (one year)
• UK Driving licence (full, clean)
• LGV license in categories C+E (larger, articulated vehicles)
• You’ll also need to hold a Certificate of Professional Competence – a practical and theory test taken every five years to prove a driver’s suitability.
• Methodical with the ability to prioritise workload
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
