This Interim DDOF role in East Kent within the not-for-profit sector involves overseeing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting to support smooth decision-making. You’ll play a key part in managing budgets, forecasts, and financial processes to keep the accounting and finance department running efficiently.

Description

• Manage Finance Leads in Financial Reporting, Financial Operations & Leadership roles
• Be part of the Finance, Risk & Compliance Leadership Team.
• Oversee Month End Reporting Processes and internal deadlines
• Review External Financial reporting for different contracts
• Proceed with process development of the Finance system and new modules
• Identify and correct control weaknesses with new appropriate processes
• Ensure control and reporting fund accounting throughout different income streams.
• Establish relationships with contract leads and significant budget holders

Profile

A successful Interim DDOF should have:

• Overseeing the finance department
• A strong background in accounting and finance.
• Experience managing budgets and forecasts.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
• Knowledge of compliance and financial regulations.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a temporary role.

Job Offer

• Hourly rate of £25ph to £30ph, dependent on the level of experience.
• Temporary position offering flexibility.
