C# Developer – Front Office Trading – London

Salary: £70,000 – 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a trading or front-office environment
• Financial markets knowledge sufficient to understand conversations around swaps, bonds and/or equities
• Strong C#/.NET development experience
• Ability to understand trading environments and solve problems quickly
• Comfortable communicating directly with traders under pressure
• Experience with Python, VBA or Excel would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Work closely alongside traders on the front office desk
• Investigate and resolve application issues quickly when traders need support
• Adapt tools to support specific trades and desk requirements
• Develop and improve the desks tools, primarily using C#/.NET
• Contribute within a broader environment that also includes Python, VBA and Excel
• Understand what traders are trying to achieve and determine the technical solution
• Communicate directly with users to support rapid problem-solving
