We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our team in Liverpool. As a Safeguarding Advanced Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and adults at risk. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify safeguarding needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing effective safeguarding plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners.
- Providing expert guidance and support to social work staff and other professionals.
- Leading case conferences and reviews, ensuring that the voice of the service user is central to all discussions.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to‑date case records in compliance with local and national standards.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker status with a valid Social Work England registration.
- A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualifying experience in safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding policies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Proven ability to manage complex cases and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
