Job Description:
- Attends the shift handover meetings communicating the current situation and status of current open non-conformance (fault notes & isolations) which they have been involved in during the shift
- Conduct CCP verification checks.
- Supply and verify the correct defect test pieces to production lines and ensure they are collected back at the end of a production run.
- Confirm the appropriate specifications and documentation is in place and being completed correctly.
- Accurately record data in the electronic quality databases system (CAQ) – Where failings are identified escalate to Management for investigation before the end of the shift.
- Conduct laboratory based analytical testing, as required to support material or colour changes during evenings
- To carry out diligently those duties as requested by the management in accordance with good Health and Safety and quality and food safety practices.
- To ensure that laboratory and Quality station housekeeping is of the highest standard at all times.
- To perform any other duties in connection with the job that may, from time to time be reasonably required and which are consistent with the “Main Purpose of the job”.
