Class 1 Driver

Pertemps are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to work on behalf of a world-leading distribution company based in Basingstoke.We are seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking drivers who can follow a structured delivery schedule and delivering great customer service at each location.

Overview of the role :

• Temp to perm role
• Various shift times – including weekend work
• Start times between 3am and 7:00pm
• Overtime after 8 hours and weekend hourly rate of £25.56 an hour
• Deliver stock to retail stores in a timely and safe manner
• Operate tail lifts and pallet trucks when required
• Accurately complete all delivery documentation
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects
• Maintain a positive working relationship with team members
• Comply with all driving regulations, including tachograph and working time rules

Requirements for this Class 1 HGV Role:

• Full UK relevant driving licence (No more than 6 points)
• HGV Class 1 Licence with 6 months experience of driving
• CPC card and Digital Tacho Card
