Compost Creative is currently looking for a talented and experienced Senior Motion Designer with a keen eye for graphic design to join our creative team in London for a range of exciting projects. The job is initially a 6 month contract that is intended to become a full time staff position. Salary available on request.

The role is ideal for a motion design artist with around 5 years motion design experience who is looking to step up into a more senior position and take on more responsibility / showcase their skills.
n

We are looking for someone that demonstrates a strong knowledge of good design and illustration, with also experience with type/layout.
n

What we're looking for:
n
- n
- Essential software knowledge with After Effects / Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Navigation in 3D software is non-essential but would be well received too.
- Good knowledge of animation tools such as rubber hose / joysticks n sliders / duik.
- To maintain good timekeeping, and taking on additional responsibility in respect to bringing task in on schedule.
- Design and create enticing motion graphics for video deliverables (Documentary and Film title sequences, infographic sequences and VFX compositing)
- Concept, plan, prepare, design, and layout for motion graphic project.
- Create and deliver motion graphics in various media.
- Able to be a team player and good communications skills
- Work with editors, producers and other designers and clients to resolve technical and/or design issues.
- Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
- Research and analyse best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.
- Participate in a brainstorming session to share new design perspectives and ideas.
- Maintain and follow the studio's practices for versioning control, naming convention and organisation of graphic files.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards.
- Traditional arts background.
