We're looking for an experienced Marketing Analytics Manager to join a high-performing marketing team on an initial 3-month contract. This role has arisen to provide cover during a period of absence and requires an individual who can quickly integrate into the team and deliver value from day one.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on marketing analytics professional who enjoys turning complex data into actionable insights and influencing marketing performance through data-driven recommendations.

The Role

n

You'll be responsible for supporting marketing teams through the analysis and interpretation of campaign performance data, helping stakeholders understand what's working, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing recommendations to optimise results.

n

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

    n

  • Monitoring and analysing marketing performance across multiple channels.
  • n

  • Producing and enhancing reporting and dashboards using Power BI.
  • n

  • Using Google Analytics and other marketing platforms to assess campaign effectiveness.
  • n

  • Analysing data sets using SQL to identify trends, issues and opportunities.
  • n

  • Providing insight-led recommendations to marketing stakeholders.
  • n

  • Supporting campaign planning through benchmarking, forecasting and performance analysis.
  • n

  • Investigating performance challenges and identifying root causes.
  • n

  • Acting as a trusted analytics partner to marketing teams.
  • n

What We're Looking For

n

Essential

n

    n

  • Previous experience in a Marketing Analytics Manager, Marketing Analyst or similar marketing-focused analytics role.
  • n

  • Strong understanding of digital and marketing performance metrics.
  • n

  • Hands-on experience with:
  • n

  • Google Analytics
  • n

  • SQL
  • n

  • Power BI
  • n

  • Experience analysing campaign performance and presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • n

  • Ability to work autonomously and quickly become productive in a new environment.
  • n

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into commercial recommendations.
  • n

Desirable

    n

  • Experience running or analysing A/B tests.
  • n

  • Experience within publishing, academic publishing or journal submissions environments.
  • n

  • Customer journey or customer analytics experience with a strong marketing focus
  • n
