Occupational Therapist – Full Time – Derry

We’re currently recruiting a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join a busy rehabilitation service based within a HSE hospital in Derry. This is a full-time agency opportunity offering Monday to Friday hours, with no weekend commitment, making it ideal for maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

What You’ll Need

• Current CORU registration
• At least 6 months’ relevant Occupational Therapy experience
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
• Garda Vetting (or willingness to complete)
• Overseas Police Clearance, where applicable
• Up-to-date immunisations, including Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella and TB screening

Your Role

• Provide assessment and rehabilitation for older adults
• Create tailored treatment plans to maximise independence
• Assess mobility, daily living skills, cognition, and equipment needs
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
• Support discharge planning and safe transitions back into the community
