Compassionate Funeral Care Assistant – On-Call

Chelmsford Star Co-operative Society is seeking a Funeral Care Assistant to support families during bereavement, handling the preparation and presentation of the deceased with care and respect. The role includes manual handling, standby/on-call duties, and a requirement for a full UK driving licence. DBS checks apply from December 2023.

You will work as part of our Funeral Services team, bringing compassion and professionalism to a demanding yet rewarding environment.
