Able Seaman

Hours: Typically 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required around tide times, with weekly hours normally not exceeding 39.

Contract: Temporary assignment expected to last at least 6–8 weeks.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely moor and unmoor the vessel as part of the deck team
• Support the deployment and recovery of survey equipment
• Carry out routine checks to help keep operations running smoothly
• Maintain an effective lookout while the vessel is underway
• Provide wheel relief support to the Skipper when required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a similar marine or deckhand role
• A reliable, safety-focused attitude and the ability to follow instructions
• Good physical fitness for practical, hands‑on duties

What’s On Offer

• £16.79 per hour
