Loading Shovel Operator

to join our busy team in

This is an

ongoing position that may lead to a contract for the right candidate.

Shift Pattern

4 on / 4 off

Applicants must be able to work both day and night shifts.

Pay Rates

Standard Rate: £18.20 per hour

• Overtime available at a higher rate.

Minimum 1 year’s experience operating a loading shovel

Valid loading shovel licence (CPCS/NPORS or equivalent)

• Ability to work both days and nights
• Strong awareness of site safety
• Reliable, flexible and a team player
• Good communication skills and a positive approach

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate loading shovel machinery
• Move and manage materials and stockpiles
• Feed production processes as required
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report defects
• Support yard and production teams
• Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping
