Our client is a well-established flooring company based in Chessington, supplying high-quality flooring products to customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join their warehouse team.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse. Working within a busy environment, you will be responsible for picking, packing, loading, unloading, and preparing flooring products for dispatch while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing flooring products accurately for customer orders
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
- Checking incoming stock and reporting any discrepancies
- Labelling, wrapping, and preparing goods for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
- Assisting with stock control and stock takes
- Moving stock within the warehouse as required
- Following all health and safety procedures
Candidate Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable with manual handling and lifting heavy flooring materials
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong work ethic and reliabilityAbility to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to support different areas of the warehouse when required
- Monday to Friday working hours
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.71 per hour
