SEND Tutor – Liverpool
Prospero Teaching are seeking a passionate SEND Tutor to provide individualised support to learners across Liverpool!
The Opportunity
We are looking for experienced teachers, tutors and mentors to deliver 1:1 educational support to children and young people with a range of additional needs.
The successful tutor will build a positive relationship with their learner and create engaging sessions tailored to their individual abilities, interests and educational goals.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on a personalised basis and wants to make a genuine difference to a young person’s education.
Position Details:
Location: Liverpool Position: SEND Tutor Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: September 2026 Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND Teaching, tutoring or mentoring experience Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs QTS or equivalent qualification desirable Patient, creative and adaptable approach
To be eligible for this role, you must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child-related references
