We’re looking for an experienced CAD Manager to lead and support an established Building Services CAD team in West Sussex.
You’ll take responsibility for a team of three intermediate CAD Engineers, providing the technical guidance, structure and day-to-day support they need to continue developing. It’s a great fit for an experienced CAD professional who enjoys the people and technical side of management, rather than stepping away from the drawings completely.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and supporting a team of CAD Engineers
- Providing technical guidance and reviewing CAD outputs
- Overseeing Building Services coordination
- Maintaining CAD standards and quality across projects
- Supporting the development of intermediate team members
- Remaining hands-on with CAD and coordination where required
What we’re looking for
- Strong AutoCAD / AutoCAD MEP experience
- Building Services / MEP background
- Previous CAD management, team leadership or mentoring experience
- Strong coordination knowledge
- Confidence reviewing and improving technical outputs
- Ideally able to regularly access the West Sussex office, although greater flexibility may be considered for the right person
