About the company
A market leading business in the Ballymena area are seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to join their growing team, working closely with the Head of Finance and overseeing a small team. An excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate seeking a long term career with a growing business, that can offer clear routes for future development and progression.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing a team of finance staff
- Oversight of financial control and reporting
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement across the finance function
- Tax compliance
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Involvement with project work as required
- Business partnering with commercial teams
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in a similar role
- Team management experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
