We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager with a strong procurement / buying background to support complex defence programmes.

This is a P3-level role with no line management responsibility, making it a good fit for an experienced Senior Buyer looking to step into a broader role.

You will manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, support procurement activity and ensure programme requirements are delivered on time and at the right cost.
n
n
The role offers the opportunity to work on interesting, high-profile projects that are not run-of-the-mill.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage procurement and buying activities.
- Identify and manage suppliers.
- Lead negotiations and tendering.
- Manage supplier performance and resolve issues.
- Support subcontract negotiations and proposals.
- Monitor supply chain risks.
- Build strong supplier relationships.

Requirements
n
- n
- Strong buying, procurement or supply chain experience.
- Construction, engineering or defence experience preferred.
- Experience negotiating and managing suppliers/subcontractors.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- MCIPS, IACCM or WCC advantageous.

Security Clearance

UK citizenship is required for this position. You must also be able to obtain and maintain SC level UK Government security clearance.
