Job description: Toomey Motor Group are looking for a passionate Junior Graphic Designer to join our growing creative team within the marketing department. This role will support the design and creation of a number of digital assets on various platforms in addition to various point of sale items across the Group.

This role is a great opportunity to start your career within design, as you will be exploring how to market different services and products through the various design assets you create.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside our current graphic designer in the delivery of all design work requested from our in-house team to develop their ideas into final artwork suitable for both digital and print.
• Creating design work for print and digital, including website banners, social media graphics, email campaigns and marketing materials.
• Confidently use your creative skills to push the boundaries within our brand guidelines.
• Delivers design solutions to briefs on time with high level of accuracy.
• Working collaboratively with other marketing team members to ensure that all designs meet company standards and exceed expectations.
• Keeping up with industry trends and best practice.

Requirements

• A passion for design and keen to learn.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Additional programs: Canva, PowerPoint and Word.
• Confident in understanding how companies use their brand identity to portray professionalism to their current and potential customers.
• Keen eye for detail in order to produce accurate and high-quality work.
• Ability to work as part of a team but also able to self-motivate.
• Able to organise briefs and manage own workflow to a fast-paced schedule.
• Preferably a Portfolio of any previous projects completed to demonstrate graphic design capabilities. Please highlight where your Portfolio can be accessed by highlighting this within your CV or cover letter.

Full time: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm

Experience:

• Graphic design: 6 Months (Essential)
• Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics and layouts
• Assist in the development and execution of design concepts for various projects
• Create and edit graphics, illustrations, and other visual elements using Adobe Creative Suite
• Design and optimize graphics for web and social media platforms
• Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and banners
• Support the team in maintaining brand consistency across all design projects
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly on websites and other digital platforms
• Assist in video editing and motion graphics creation

Skills:

• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, and other design software
• Strong understanding of web design principles and best practices
• Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas and concepts
