Embedded Firmware Engineer: Fault-Finding & Product Impact

Candidate Source is seeking a Software Design Engineer in Birmingham to take ownership of embedded development for specialist communications and surveillance equipment. You’ll develop bare-metal C firmware for STM32/ARM MCUs, diagnose faults and contribute to product improvements across the full lifecycle.

You’ll collaborate with technical, production and sales teams, use Jira for task management, and work 42.5 hours per week, 08:00-17:00 on site with parking.
